The Melting Drops line of designer jewelry is based on an organic teardrop shape.
The shape and the way the pieces fit together or "interlock" is reminiscent of leaves, fish scales
or feathers. The tail of one teardrop comes out through a tiny opening in the body of the next teardrop,
where it is capped with a silver ball, a pearl or a gem. The clasp is an easy-to-manage hook that is
invisible so that it doesn’t interrupt the flow of the design.
Some of the necklaces are unusual in that the teardrops graduate in size not just once, but twice: larger
in the front and back, smaller at the sides resulting in a graceful movement, almost like a gentle ocean
wave. The drape must be seen and felt to be appreciated. These pieces are a joy to wear.
